Admiral Joe Fowler Riverboat

Walt had always been fascinated with the stories and legends surrounding his mid-Western upbringing. Having been born not too far from Samuel Clemens Missouri home, Walt consistently looked to this author's influence on the expansion of his own vision.

The riverboats were a natural means of trade and travel in the burgeoning frontier, so it was only natural that they be included in Liberty Square as a testament to their influence in building this nation.
