The ESPN Innovation Lab officially opened today at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort. The Innovation Lab provides ESPN a real-world testing ground to continue developing new ground-breaking on-air products.

With over 1700 images from ESPN the Weekend, I will be digging out of these for a while. There were some great shots but my favorite has to be Donnie Edwards in his Mickey Mouse ears and classic Mickey T – he was having a good time at the event.
ESPN the Weekend had so many things going on throughout the event, it was nearly impossible to see them all. From motorcades and live broadcasts to panel discussions and interactive exhibits the weekend was a huge success. We have tried to cram as much into a short video as possible.
One of the great treats growing up was seeing the Harlem Globetrotters in between other sporting events on a Saturday afternoon. Well, ESPN the Weekend delivered some Harlem Globetrotter magic this past Saturday.
This past weekend was an incredible time for ESPN the Weekend. There were hall-of-famers, Olympic Gold Medalists, celebrities and fans – lots and lots of fans. The weekend is all about the fans and the athletes and stars that spent the weekend at Disney’s Hollywood Studios showed their appreciation to the fans that came.
ESPN the Weekend is a sports lovers dream and it is all taking place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this coming February 27 – March 1, 2009.
