Brilliant artwork brightens Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., during Festival of the Masters. Halloween is coming early to Walt Disney World Resort – and is sticking around for a night beyond the traditional Oct. 31. On 24 evenings between Sept. 4 and Nov. 1, Magic Kingdom will be alive with friendly ghosts and goblins during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Starting Oct. 26, Magic Kingdom guests will be treated to first-ever appearances by Princess Tiana, star of the upcoming Walt Disney Pictures animated feature film “The Princess and the Frog.”
From a 1930s culinary landmark to a kitschy ‘50s drive-in theater, restaurants at Disney’s Hollywood Studios are inspired by TV and movie sets – part of the park’s Tinseltown fun and whimsy.
Trees glisten, snow flurries and Cinderella Castle sparkles during the winter wonderland season at Walt Disney World Resort. By late November, themed décor will blanket the Vacation Kingdom as Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney and 23 resorts unwrap their own sleighfuls of yuletide gaiety.
One of the great things about Disney’s parks is that special quality the Imagineers call streetmosphere. The Imagineer use sensory design to create a truly magical experience for the guests to their parks here at the Walt Disney World Resort and all around Disney’s World.
Wandering through the Magic Kingdom on my way to Splash Mountain, we happened upon this contingent of the talented musicians from the Magic Kingdom’s marching band. They are an amazingly accomplished band that played some amazing renditions of some Disney favorites.
Walking around the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival today, we paused right outside of the French Pavilion’s Les Chefs de France. To our great surprise and delight, we saw none other than the world famous chef, Remy.
The great thing about Walt Disney World is the quality of talent you find when you are just wandering around the park. From actors and singers to musicians and characters, you never know what or who you will run into when you walk around the parks.
High School Musical has become more than anyone at the Disney Studios could ever have imagined. From that first day they released it for free on Apple’s iTunes, there was a sudden surge of interest and excitement from kids all over for HSM.
There is so much going on at the parks in The Walt Disney World Resort, that there is barely time to keep up. One of the most interesting aspects of visiting a Disney park is the streetmosphere.
I still think that the opening ceremonies they perform at the parks are a wonderful celebration. I got a little bit closer this time around, and there was even a different castmember to welcome us into the park.
