Disney’s newest resort – Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, Ko Olina, Hawai‘i – reflects the company’s deep commitment to celebrating the islands’ rich history and traditions. Plans call for the first phase of the resort to open in fall 2011.
Star Wars Weekends (each Friday-Sunday May 21-June 13, 2010) – “The Force” returns to Walt Disney World Resort as Disney’s Hollywood Studios becomes “Star Wars Central” for guests of all ages during the annual sci-fi fan-fest.
The curtain will rise on March as Future World and World Showcase are transformed into floral fantasylands as guests roam amid 30 million blooms adorned in artful flower beds, lush rose gardens and floating islands of flowers plus expertly crafted bonsai trees and whimsical topiaries.
On the calendar, summer doesn’t arrive until June 21. On the thermometer, however, it’s already summer-like by May in central Florida with average daytime highs in the upper 80s. In June, July and August, average highs are in the low 90s.
The “Southern California Resident 2fer Ticket,” guests will be immersed in the magic of fun attractions and high quality entertainment at Disneyland or Disney’s California Adventure park on one day, and then come back on another day to play in the other park – for free.
The inaugural Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend is set to take place Oct. 1-2, 2010, culminating with a 13.1-mile nighttime race and after-hours party inside the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.

The game should attract countless fans due to its fully 3D battle environment, diversified races and vocations, and inviting social communities.
One hundred high school students from across the country will celebrate Black History month as they convene at Walt Disney World Resort Feb. 11-14 to participate in Disney’s Dreamers Academy 2010. This annual program is in partnership with nationally syndicated radio personality Steve Harvey.
