Although May is still a few months away, Star Wars Weekends information is heating up. Word is, followed by some great pictures, that there are 4 incredible limited edition statues to be released around the second week of June – just in time for the end of Star Wars Weekends.
The fine folks over at StarWars.com have released some imagery of these incredible statues. There are 4 in total and are being produced in an edition of 600; with 500 destined for The Walt Disney World Resort and 100 for Disneyland. They will retail for $195.oo and finish up an ongoing series, so you can be sure these will go fast.
The four sculptures are:
- Mickey Mouse as Luke with Yoda on his back
- Minnie Mouse as Princess Leia
- Goofy as Chewbacca
- Donald Duck as Han Solo encased in Carbonite
The pictures look fantastic although it does not say how tall these are, I am already sold on Donald Duck in the carbonite. As we get some more information, we will release it here at etckt.com.
