The Annual Webby’s list of honorees has been released and Disney Vacation Club’s micro-site for the new Bay Lake Towers property has been nominated in the Travel category.

Disney Vacation Club’s newest property, Bay Lake Towers, is getting noticed even before it has opened. In order to generate a buzz, the company released a micro-site to educate guests about the new property in the Disney Vacation Club’s in their portfolio of destinations. It has certainly gained the notice of the highest honor, being on the list of honorees of the Webby Awards. The Webby’s are the online interactive equivalent of the Oscars and making the list is quite an accomplishment.
Disney also has been nominated with some of its other properties this year: DisneyFamily.com, Club Penguin, ESPN.com, and ESPN Euro are up for awards in other categories.
