The 36th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards have been announced this morning and Disney/ABC Television Group has received a host of nominations for their shows across their networks.

The Disney/ABC Television Group received 62 nominations for the 36th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards announced live this morning. “All My Children” is the most honored show with 19 nominations, including a nod for Outstanding Drama Series. The show also received nominations in two newly created categories, New Approaches – Daytime Entertainment, and Outstanding Promotional Announcement – Episodic. “The View” received its 12th consecutive nomination in 12 years for Outstanding Talk Show Host honoring Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd. “Good Morning America” received its third consecutive nomination for Outstanding Morning Program. The morning news broadcast has been honored with the award for the past two years. Six-time Emmy winner Anthony Geary is honored once again in the Lead Actor category marking his 13th nomination.

Disney-ABC Domestic Television received a total of four nominations: “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” received a nod for Outstanding Game/Audience Participation Show, and Meredith Vieira as Outstanding Game Show Host. “LIVE! with Regis and Kelly” received nominations in the Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment category, as well as Outstanding Talk Show Host for Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa, which marks the 18th nomination for both the show and its hosts.

“All My Children’s” Debbi Morgan (Angie Hubbard) and “One Life to Live’s” Susan Haskell received nominations in the Lead Actress category, each having won in the Supporting Actress category in 1989 and 1994, respectively. Thorsten Kaye (Zach Slater) was honored in the Lead Actor category for his work on “All My Children.” First-time nominees Alicia Minshew (Kendall Hart Slater on “All My Children”), Melissa Claire Egan (Annie Lavery on “All My Children”) and Bree Williamson (Jessica Brennan on “One Life to Live”) each received nods in the Supporting Actress category. Emmy-winner Jacob Young (JR Chandler on “All My Children”) received a nomination in the Supporting Actor category, along with cast-mate Vincent Irizarry (David Hayward) and “General Hospital’s” Bradford Anderson (Damien Spinelli).

“General Hospital’s” Julie Berman (Lulu Spencer) and Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) each were honored with nominations as Outstanding Younger Actress, while “All My Children’s” Cornelius Smith Jr. (Frankie Hubbard) received his first nomination in the Outstanding Younger Actor category.

ABC received three nominations for the “2008 Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade” — Outstanding Special Class Special, Outstanding Achievement in Live & Direct to Tape Sound Mixing and Outstanding Special Class Directing.

Disney Channel received 10 nominations, including Outstanding Children’s Animated Program for “Little Einsteins” and Outstanding Special Class Animated Program for “Handy Manny.” “Imagination Movers” received a nod for Outstanding Original Song – Children’s and Animations for “Boing, Cluck Cluck.” “Johnny and the Sprites” was honored with four nominations, including Outstanding Pre-school Children’s Series, Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction/Set Decoration/Scenic Design, Outstanding Directing in a Children’s Series and Outstanding Achievement in Single Camera Photography (Film or Electronic). “Disney My Friends Tigger & Pooh” received three nominations, including Outstanding Directing in an Animated Program, Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program for Jim Cummings (Tigger) and Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing – Live Action and Animation.
