Although I am not going to complain about this rain, I live here and we need it desperately. For our guests to Central Florida, however, it does put a damper on the Disney vacation plans. Fear not! Fantasy adventures featuring cutting-edge virtual reality technology and classic Disney worlds await guests of all ages when they step inside DisneyQuest, a five-story, indoor interactive theme park that combines Disney’s magic with state-of-the-art immersive technologies at Walt Disney World Resort.

The thrills and adventures of DisneyQuest are delivered in an awe-inspiring 100,000-square-foot purple and aquamarine building, a standout structure within the exciting Downtown Disney West Side dining and entertainment district.

FoodQuest is a quick-service restaurant serving salads, pastas, wraps, burgers and desserts.  An on-site retail shop offers a wide variety of DisneyQuest merchandise.DisneyQuest is open daily from 11:30 a.m. until midnight Friday and Saturday, and 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. Admission is $40 plus tax and $34 plus tax for guests ages 3-9. All guests age 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult. DisneyQuest is an ideal venue for group events as well. Wrapping it up

Although I see the sun peeking its way through the clouds as I write this, keep DisneyQuest open as an option in case you don’t want to spend a rainy Florida day dodging rain drops. It is a great way to have a lot of fun, while still enjoying that Disney magic. And as the saying goes here in Florida, if you don’t like the weather, just wait a while and it will change.
