Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM), a leading health-benefits company, announced today a unique collaboration with Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures that will impact children’s health in a fun and innovative way. “Operation Planet Savers” is a game developed and sponsored by Humana’s Innovation Center “Games for Health” team that combines real-world and online game play. The game offers kids a cool way to participate in physical, mental and social challenges this summer while getting excited about Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ G-Force, arriving in theaters July 24.

G-Force is about a team of secret agent guinea pigs on a mission to save the planet. Players of Operation Planet Savers, OPS for short, complete weekly training missions that require real-world activity and train the young game-players to become G-Force agents. Players can earn virtual prizes, like new G-Force holograms – unique to Humana and Disney – and sneak peeks at G-Force movie clips. OPS players also compete each week for prizes like an iPod nano and the grand prize – walking the red carpet at the G-Force movie premiere in Los Angeles.

“OPS is much more than an online game; it’s ‘on the ground’ as well – a unique game that gets kids out in their backyards playing and having fun,” said Grant Harrison, Vice President of Consumer Innovation at Humana. “Being inactive as kids can impact their long-term health, which is one reason we’ve created a game that gets kids off the couch, out of the house and on a mission. We couldn’t have a better association for a game like this than with Disney.”

“We are thrilled to be collaborating with Humana for the very first time on our summer release of G-Force. It’s the perfect film with which to showcase Humana’s Operation Planet Savers game, using the latest technologies in an amazing game experience for kids and families alike. We are pleased to be part of such an inspiring program that is designed to get kids moving while having fun,” said Cherise McVicar, Senior Vice President, National Promotions and Mobile Marketing – Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

The OPS game has now begun and continues through June 28. The game is free and open to anyone under age 16, but is geared to 7-9 year olds. The OPS website is secure, and every child who wishes to play must have a parent or guardian’s permission before they can embark on their “missions.” For more information, please visit www.humanagames.com and click on “Operation Planet Savers.”

About G-Force

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer brings his first 3-D film to the big screen with G-Force, a comedy adventure about the latest evolution of a covert government program to train animals to work in espionage. Armed with the latest high-tech spy equipment, these highly trained guinea pigs discover that the fate of the world is in their paws. Tapped for the G-Force are guinea pigs Darwin (voice of Sam Rockwell), the squad leader determined to succeed at all costs; Blaster (voice of Tracy Morgan), an outrageous weapons expert with tons of attitude and a love for all things extreme; and Juarez (voice of Penelope Cruz), a martial arts pro; plus the literal fly-on-the-wall reconnaissance expert, Mooch, and a star-nosed mole, Speckles (voice of Nicolas Cage), the computer and information specialist. Along the way, the G-Force encounters myriad other members of the animal kingdom, including pet shop layabout Hurley (voice of Jon Favreau) and the rabidly territorial hamster Bucky (voice of Steve Buscemi).
