Millions of fans from around the world are invited to vote for their favorite musical numbers from television’s #1 animated series for Kids age 6-14 and Boys 6-11, Disney’s “Phineas and Ferb,” and the results will be showcased in a new viewer-generated extravaganza, “Phineas and Ferb’s Musical Cliptastic Countdown.” The episode will air MONDAY, OCTOBER 12 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD with a encore Friday, October 16 (9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. Fans can choose from 20 full-length versions of music videos that are posted on the sites. Through an interactive online voting feature, users will be able to select up to 10 choices. With each video vote, kids can also send a message to their friends.

Hosted by comedic foils Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Major Monogram (voiced by creators Dan Povenmire and Swampy Marsh), the episode will feature a compilation of the Top 10 music clips selected by fans. The event will kick off Monday, October 12 at 10:00 a.m., with a marathon of the selected episodes leading into the premiere of “Phineas and Ferb’s Musical Cliptastic Countdown.” The music-filled series has featured over 100 original songs and garnered two Emmy nominations for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics and Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music. The songs from “Phineas and Ferb” encompass many genres of music including pop, rock, swing & jazz.

“Phineas and Ferb” airs on Disney XD and Disney Channels in more than 135 countries and in 26 languages around the world. In the U.S., 2009 to-date, “Phineas and Ferb” is TV’s #1 animated primetime series among Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14. For the month of August, the show was officially the #1 series on television with boys 6-11.
