FLO TV Incorporated, provider of the award-winning FLO TV(TM) live mobile TV service and a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated, has expanded its content distribution agreement with The Walt Disney Company to add content from the ABC Television Network and Disney Channel to its lineup, joining content already available on ESPN MobileTV. As part of the deal, FLO TV users will have access to some of the most popular shows in primetime from ABC Mobile and a simulcast of the Disney Channel.

ABC Mobile and Disney Channel offer some of the most iconic and popular programming on television. FLO TV is thrilled to add ABC Mobile and the Disney Channel to the lineup of leading brands enjoyed by our subscribers.

We are excited to expand our relationship with FLO TV and now offer a comprehensive array of world-class programming to their subscribers. We are dedicated to connecting viewers to the content they want and brands they love on the platforms they choose and are pleased that in addition to having access to high-quality, popular sports programming from ESPN, users of the FLO TVservice will now be able to see their favorite shows from ABC and Disney Channel.
Matt Murphy, SVP, digital video distribution, Disney and ESPN Media Networks

The ABC Mobile channel features full-length episodes of popular primetime shows such as “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Desperate Housewives,” “FlashForward,” “Ugly Betty” and “Lost” (when it returns in February 2010), as well as select content from ABC Family and SOAPnet. Additionally, the mobile channel offers a variety of short-form content from ABC Entertainment and ABC News.

Disney Channel will run a simulcast on the FLO TV service, offering consumers access to full-length episodes of hit Disney Channel series “Hannah Montana,” “Wizards of Waverly Place,” “The Suite Life on Deck” and “JONAS,” as well as films from the wildly popular Disney Channel Original Movie franchise. The service also includes Playhouse Disney, a daily morning programming block for preschoolers and their caregivers featuring a wide array of content, such as critically acclaimed series “Handy Manny” and “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.”

The FLO TV wireless service already offers ESPN MobileTV, which delivers year-round 24/7 coverage of more than 800 live events, including College Football, College Basketball, Major League Baseball and more. ESPN MobileTV also delivers timely news and information seven days a week from ESPNEWS, as well as information and analysis from top ESPN studio programs “Baseball Tonight,” “Pardon the Interruption” and “Around the Horn.” Through this new agreement, live event coverage will expand further still, with previously unavailable ESPN games being added to the ABC Mobile channel.

The FLO TV service is being offered across multiple platforms, including:

on a dedicated device with the FLO TV Personal Television — the first-ever portable digital television with a dedicated network;

direct to mobile subscribers, via AT&T as AT&T Mobile TV and Verizon Wireless as V CAST Mobile TV;

direct to automobiles using the FLO TV Auto Entertainment system. Audiovox and FLO TV will be launching FLO TVAuto Entertainment, an in-vehicle entertainment system that delivers high-quality TV, offering enhanced entertainment beyond DVDs.

Through this variety of media, consumers can simultaneously get high-quality video and audio in real time without streaming, buffering or downloads.
