A rapidly recognized force in the women’s contemporary fashion world, Patterson J. Kincaid, a Jaya Apparel Group brand, announced today that it is collaborating with Disney Consumer Products to introduce a special limited edition collection —Disney by: Patterson J. Kincaid, which offers trendsetters fashion with a bit of nostalgia. The collection of vintage-chic women’s apparel will launch June 2011 and will be found in Patterson J. Kincaid brick and mortar and e-commerce retailers nationwide.

The Disney by: Patterson J. Kincaid collection combines the vintage comfort the brand is known for with some of Disney’s most beloved visuals including from the classic story, Bambi, which will be the design inspiration for the first delivery and Fantasia for the future installment. The collection is comprised of easy, knit pieces ranging from effortlessly cool tank tops to hip oversized sweatshirts and stylishly distressed T-shirts that fit like an old favorite.

The Patterson J. Kincaid girl is a vintage lover who spends her time outdoors being playful. Also nostalgic and whimsical as many of Disney’s stories, we knew the Patterson J. Kincaid consumer would love a collection that brought to life cherished childhood memories. Bambi’s woodsy aesthetic and precious visuals made it the perfect choice to kick off the collection.

From Bambi’s first steps on a frozen pond to Thumper’s playful energy and Flower’s feminine sweetness, all the character art was carefully selected for their unique traits also embodied by the Patterson J. Kincaid adorer.
