A welcome greets you as you begin your walk or tram ride to the beaches of Castaway Cay. If you enjoy a nice walk, there is a clear path for you to make your way to the beaches with lots to see along the way. Otherwise, enjoy the tram ride to get to your favorite spot on the beaches.
Almost there. As you can see the walkways are wide enough for the sheer number of folks that would be on a full Disney Cruise Ship. We were on Castaway Cay shortly after it opened and much like Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the island has grown up nicely.
As you wander the island, there are a number of these brightly colored signposts to point you in the right direction. And as always, if you really need some help just look for a Disney Castmember to help you out.
One of the great photo opportunities is Mount Rustmore. You can take some great pictures here with some of the characters and your ship in the background. They make some great memories.
And here, is what you are waiting for…the clear blue waters of Castaway Cay. They have expanded the beaches and as you can see, there really is not a bad view anywhere.
