I recently received an envelope in the mail touting the Newest Disney Landmark. Anxious to see what was happening at my favorite destination, I quickly opened the envelope to find some great news about the newest addition to the Walt Disney World Resort, here in Central Florida.
Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
For those of us who have recently visited the Magic Kingdom, we have all noticed the tower being constructed at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Up ’til recently most Disney castmembers would not confirm the structure to be a new Disney Vacation Club tower in one of the best locations in all of the resort.
Well, they are close enough to the launch, estimated for Fall of 2009, that they are now soliciting ownership in Disney’s Vacation Club at the Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Overlooking the Magic Kingdom, this addition to the Disney Vacation Club portfolio opens up a whole new world for those fortunate enough to get in on the deal. With prices starting at around $17 thousand, you can find complete details here.
Disney Vacation Club
The Disney Vacation Club is the only vacation ownership program that combines the Disney experience with the ability to travel beyond their resorts. With over 500 other destination around the world (i.e. New York, Paris, London, Hawaii, etc.) it is easy to see how The Walt Disney Co. has revolutionized the vacation ownership market with the Disney Vacation Club.
The Disney Vacation Club started in 1991 and has changed the face of time-share travel, transforming it into a vacation-ownership opportunity that has the backing of the leader in destination travel, the Walt Disney Co.
There are currently 10 Disney Vacation Club resorts around the country with more planned. Including this newest location, the Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, they are:
- The Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa (Walt Disney World)
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas (Walt Disney World)
- Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa (Walt Disney World)
- Disney’s Beach Club Villas (Walt Disney World)
- Disney’s Old Key West Resort (Walt Disney World)
- The Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge (Walt Disney World)
- Disney’s BoardWalk Villas (Walt Disney World)
- Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort (Hilton Head Island, South Carolina)
