There are so many choices to make when you are planning your Disney World vacation – the vast choices in dining plans alone are enough to confuse even the most astute travelers. Surfing around Disney’s site some of the information is a bit scattered, so here is the latest on their packages for 2009.

Now, the usual caveats apply, prices are subject to change, your mileage may vary etc. But these are the latest bits of information on one page with the various plans for 2009.

Disney Dining Plan

The Disney Dining Plan offers savings of up to 30% on dining throughout Walt Disney World Resort. The Disney Dining Plan is an option available exclusively to Guests of Disney Resort hotels with Magic Your Way Vacation Packages.

How the Disney Dining Plan Works

When booking your vacation, purchase one of the Magic Your Way Vacation Packages that includes the Disney Dining Plan.
While vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort, choose from over 100 select restaurants available with the Disney Dining Plan.
Present your Key to the World card to your server or cashier prior to ordering. The Key to the World card electronically monitors your party’s allocated meals.
Track your meals with the easy-to-read receipt your server will provide you, which displays your remaining meal balance.
Redeem your meals in any order throughout your package stay until each person’s meal total is complete.

2009 Magic Your Way Package Plus Quick Service Dining

This vacation package includes a Disney Resort stay and a customizable Magic Your Way Base Ticket, as well as a dining plan that helps you save up to 20% per adult on your dining needs. Eat at participating quick-service restaurants and receive 2 quick-service meals and 2 snacks per person per night of your package stay. You’ll also receive a drink mug you can refill as often as you like at any quick-service restaurant at your Disney Resort hotel.

Bypass Baggage Claim With Our Luggage Delivery

As part of Disney’s Complimentary Airport Service, we deliver your bags straight to your Disney hotel room from Orlando International Airport.

Complimentary Airport Pickup and Return

Disney’s Complimentary Airport Service picks you up at Orlando International Airport in air-conditioned motor coaches and takes you to your Walt Disney Resort hotel.

Complimentary airport transportation service, known as Disney’s Magical Express Transportation, is free roundtrip airport transportation and baggage delivery for Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

Begin your vacation the moment you step off the plane. Bypass baggage claim and avoid the hassle of having to find transportation and drive, as Disney’s Magical Express service transports you from Orlando International Airport to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, and pick ups and deliver your bags to your room. And when your vacation ends, we’ll transport you and your luggage back to the airport.

How It Works

Reserve Disney’s Magical Express Transportation when you book online or by calling (407) WDW-MAGIC or (407) 939-6244. Guests under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian’s permission to call.
Upon landing at Orlando International Airport, skip baggage claim and proceed to the Disney Welcome Center in the Main Terminal Building, B side, Level 1. Disney’s Magical Express service will collect your luggage and deliver it directly to your Walt Disney World hotel room within 3 hours after you check in.
International Guests flying into Orlando International Airport from another country must follow the U.S. Customs and Border Protection process and claim luggage after disembarking the plane. After completing the process, proceed to the Disney Welcome Center in the Main Terminal Building, B side, Level 1. Disney’s Magical Express service will recollect your luggage and deliver it directly to your Walt Disney World hotel room within 4 hours after you check in.
Sit back and relax as Disney transports you to your Disney Resort hotel in an air-conditioned motor coach.
As your vacation draws to a close, you’ll receive a Transportation Notice advising you of the pick-up time and place for your motor coach ride back to Orlando International Airport. Please not that it is your responsibility to bring your luggage to the pick-up point.

Please note that you cannot reserve the luggage service exclusively. You must be present on the motor coach to have your luggage transported to a Walt Disney World hotel.

Change in Luggage Tag Policy

Effective February 10, 2009, Disney’s Magical Express service will mail only one luggage tag per registered Guest. Call (866) 599-0951 to request additional luggage tags. Guests under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian’s permission to call.

Resort Airline Check-In Service

If you’re departing domestically on a designated airline, enjoy the convenience of our Resort Airline Check-in Service, which allows you to receive your return boarding pass and check one piece of luggage per passenger at your Walt Disney World hotel, bypassing airport check-in completely.

Simply visit the Resort Airline Check-In Desk located at your Walt Disney World hotel up to 12 hours prior to your flight departure time. A valid government issued photo I.D. and your hotel room key are required to participate.

Disney does the driving for you with its Complimentary Resort Transportation. Our convenient monorail, water taxis and motor coaches travel between Disney Resort hotels, Theme Parks, Water Parks, the Downtown Disney area and other recreation spots throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.

Complimentary Resort Transportation

Complimentary transportation throughout Walt Disney World Resort—including transportation to and from Disney Theme Parks and Disney Water Parks—is available to Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

How It Works

Upon checking into your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, ask a Cast Member at the Front Desk for a Walt Disney World Resort Transportation brochure, and familiarize yourself with the transportation system for your particular Resort hotel in greater detail.
Stop by one of the convenient and well-marked pick-up points at your hotel—and throughout Walt Disney World Resort—and, usually within minutes, your ride will arrive ready to transport you throughout the Resort. Keep in mind that certain destinations are not direct, and that you may be required to take a connecting mode of transport to reach your required stop.

View Purchases on One Bill

Your Key to the World Card acts as your hotel room key, Theme Park ticket and charge card good all over Walt Disney World Resort. As you dine and shop, just charge meals, goods and services directly to your room! At the end of your vacation, view your vacation purchases on one consolidated statement.

Extra Time in the Theme Parks

Extra Magic Hours mean that every day one of the Theme Parks either opens an hour early or stays open up to three hours after regular Park closing so that Disney Resort hotel Guests can enjoy attractions longer and at cooler times of the day. Just present your Key to the World Card to select Disney Cast Members to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours benefit.

Your Purchases Delivered to Your Room

Shop at select Disney stores throughout the Walt Disney World Resort and have your purchases delivered right to your room so you can be free to play without lugging around packages, nor have to interrupt your day to return to the hotel to drop them off.

*Certain benefits are also available to Guests staying at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel and select Downtown Disney® Resort Area hotels.

Customizable Disney Theme Park Ticket

First, choose the number of days (from one to 10) of your ticket, which provides admission to one of the 4 Disney Theme Parks each day. The more days you add to your ticket, the less you pay per day! All tickets and options are nontransferable and exclude activities and events separately priced.

Next, purchase these options to add more fun and flexibility to your ticket:

Park Hopper Option

Add the Park Hopper Option to come and go as you please through all 4 Walt Disney World Theme Parks on the same day for each day of your ticket.

Water Park Fun & More Option

The Water Park Fun & More Option offers a certain number of visits based on the length of your ticket. For each visit, you can choose one of the following:

DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park
Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex
Green fees for a round of golf at Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course, a 9-hole walking course. Reservations for tee times are required and subject to availability.

Water Parks are subject to closure for rehabilitation and weather closures. Age restrictions may apply for access to certain facilities.

No Expiration Option

With the No Expiration Option, your unused Theme Park days and Water Park Fun & More Option visits never expire.

30 Minute Arcade Game Card — one card per room valid for 30 minutes of arcade game play. Not valid for games with prizes or photo booths. May only be used in arcades, located in select Walt Disney World Resorts Hotels.

For each night of your package, each Guest in your party age 3+ receives:
