With the celebration of the 20th anniversay of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I have been looking in the archives to see what I could pull out, scan/photograph and post here on the site. The first thing that I found were some old maps.

Maps

dms_map_001

This was one of the first maps I received as a castmember way back in the nineties. It is not nearly as decorative as the guest’s maps, but it shows the layout of the park in an ordered manner.

This map is an oldie, but a goodie. Taken from an old guest resort map that had all the parks and resorts on one large foldout map.

This is the third map in the post, and it comes from one of the first guest maps of the park. If you flip it upside down, you can clearly see the outline of Mickey Mouse as a basic footprint of the park. Clearly, the largest hidden Mickey at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Wrapping it up

I will be at the Studios tomorrow to cover any of the festivites going on and will report back as soon as I can. Check back to the site for updates or follow me on twitter for up to the minute reporting.
