In the story, Captain Eo and his crew of mythical space creatures — Hooter, Fuzzball, the Geex, Major Domo and Minor Domo — discover a colorless planet where they are confronted by the Supreme Leader and her forces of darkness. Using the power of music, dance, and light, Eo and his crew are able to turn the black and white land into a magical world of color and happiness. George Lucas was executive producer and Francis Coppola was director. “Captain Eo” added the elements of light and strobes that extended the energy of the show directly to the audience.

Wrapping it up
Michael Jackson was a brilliant star in the entertainment world, both figuratively and literally. His personal life was equally disruptive for him as well as some of those that gained his favor over the years. Despite this, his fondness for Disney and all of the wonderful magic they create was indisputable. Captain EO, at the time it was produced, the most expensive film ever shot (on a per minute basis $30 million for a 17 minute film) and was a must-see attraction at EPCOT, Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris during its run at the parks.
