Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival is always a signature event for Spring. Showcasing some of the most amazing floral displays throughout the park, the event also showcases great American gardeners who can help you make the most of your green thumb.
While much of the country’s landscape hibernates to escape winter’s chill, spring arrives on butterfly wings for the 17th annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival beginning March 3, which continues for 75 days through May 16, at Walt Disney World Resort.
Epcot becomes a living jukebox featuring hit songs of the 1960s through the 1990s each Friday through Sunday of the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival at Walt Disney World Resort during the Flower Power Concert Series.
Two exciting additions are coming to Epcot World Showcase, with culinary expansions under way at the Italy pavilion and Mexico pavilion.
The curtain will rise on March as Future World and World Showcase are transformed into floral fantasylands as guests roam amid 30 million blooms adorned in artful flower beds, lush rose gardens and floating islands of flowers plus expertly crafted bonsai trees and whimsical topiaries.
Warm holiday wishes filled the air at sunset on December 6 as more than 1,400 community leaders gathered to enjoy a performance of the Candlelight Processional at Epcot’s America Gardens Theatre showcasing the reason for the season through memorable music and the retelling of the Christmas story.
The 17th annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival kicks off March 3 and continues for 75 days through May 16, 2010, with bold strokes of seasonal color and brand-new topiary whimsy.
Whoopi Goldberg, Vanessa Williams, Anika Noni Rose and Isabella Rossellini join a lineup of 12 celebrity narrators who retell the joyous Christmas story during the Candlelight Processional Nov. 27-Dec. 3 at Epcot.
So, we went over for a day of fun in the sun and to sample the great culinary treats at Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival this past Saturday and boy, did we eat!
Autumn has officially arrived, and with it comes the traditional Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. On the first day, the Walt Disney World Public Relations team invited world-renowned wine enthusiast and Jets fan, Gary Vaynerchuk, to host a couple of seminars at Epcot.
As we wait for the 2009 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival to begin, I created a special Google Map highlighting the features around World Showcase’s Promenade and Marketplace.
So with the start of Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival beginning this week, we put together a web application for the event for use with Apple’s iPhone. The web application itself is fairly straightforward; highlighting the 5 major functions at the festival as well as links to some of our other sites.
