Our usual Father’s Day celebration starts off with breakfast at Ohana’s and then a day of fun in the park. This year was no different and the park we chose was the Magic Kingdom. To our delight, another portion of the new Fantasyland was opened this week and the kids got to enjoy the Casey Jr. Splash “N” Soak Station.
Situated in front of the Walt Disney World Railroad station this new area is large enough to accommodate a good number of children with a splash zone that extends out into some of the “safe” areas.
The details of the water features is very whimsical and offers a nice open area for the little ones to play and cool off; especially as we enter the hotter summer months here in Central Florida.
We also saw the the second Dumbo attraction was now visible, but was not open during our time in the park. It will be fun to see how the rest of the new Fantasyland shapes up as they bring new attractions on line and available to the guests. In the meantime, if you are in the Magic Kingdom be sure to check out Casey Jr. for a quick cool down.
