Following the success of the inaugural ‘Marvel Super Hero September’ campaign, Disney Consumer Products officially announces the expansion of its national multi-platform celebration into the supercharged ‘Marvel Super Hero Spectacular.’ Now running for five weeks – beginning at the end of September and going through all of October – ‘Marvel Super Hero Spectacular’ will deliver even more Super Hero fun to meet fan demand. The 2015 event will introduce an enhanced marketing and retail strategy with more partners and merchandise offerings aimed to entice fans to celebrate their love for all things Marvel. The campaign will focus on core Marvel franchises including The Avengers, Spider-Man and Guardians of Galaxy.
‘Marvel Super Hero Spectacular’ will see the return of best-in-class partners such as Hasbro, Party City, Payless, and Hallmark who will once again energize their offerings during this key period. Its success has also ushered in a raft of new partners looking to capitalize on the initiative with a strong focus on apparel and consumables. These partners will showcase new promotions, special fan offers, and exciting in-store events.
Marvel Super Hero Spectacular’ was born purely from the excitement, success, and continued demand from last year’s ‘Marvel Super Hero September’ campaign. Fans showed us, along with our licensees and retailers, the passion and love they have for the Marvel brand.
