We saw Cinderella this weekend and loved it. The movie is a wonderful adaptation of the fairy-tale classic, directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring Lily James as Cinderella, Cate Blanchett as the evil stepmother and Richard Madden as the prince. The story is wonderfully re-told and the sets, costumes and cinematography combine for a magical experience that help explains its tremendous opening weekend showing at $70 million domestic.
