A sold-out field for Disney’s Expedition Everest Challenge presented by Champion will be tested like never before by several new twists and turns Sept. 26 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. A series of Kids’ Races have been added to kick off the event, making it an experience the whole family can enjoy.
So, I have photographed this mountain many times, but had yet taken the chance to conquer it, and with it complete the North American conquest of the Disney Mountain Range. So today, within Disney’s Animal Kingdom, I boarded a mysterious train bound for Expedition Everest.
For most guests, a trip to Walt Disney World Resort is synonymous with a vacation. But for two talented teens from Boston, their visit seemed more like biology lab than summer break.

Expedition Everest is the newest mountain in the Disney Range. The attraction hurtles guests along a high-speed roller coaster with an encounter with the legendary Yeti. The amount of work that it took to make the ride is staggering and it all begins with making a believable story and its monster.
With a beautiful weekend forecasted for here in Central Florida, I thought I would provide some inspiration for you to get up and head to Animal Kingdom this weekend.
Flights of Wonder is a great show in Asia, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, that up until recently I had never seen. An original attraction at the park, I just had never made the time to see the show, and boy have I been missing out on a great, great show.
