One hundred high school students from across the country will celebrate Black History month as they convene at Walt Disney World Resort Feb. 11-14 to participate in Disney’s Dreamers Academy 2010. This annual program is in partnership with nationally syndicated radio personality Steve Harvey.
There is much to see throughout the year at the Walt Disney World Resort, but during the holidays, the parks seem even more alive. With traditional storytellers at Epcot, a transformed Cinderella Castle and the Osbourne Lights at the Studios it is a magical time to visit the parks.
Warm holiday wishes filled the air at sunset on December 6 as more than 1,400 community leaders gathered to enjoy a performance of the Candlelight Processional at Epcot’s America Gardens Theatre showcasing the reason for the season through memorable music and the retelling of the Christmas story.
Napa Rose Executive Chef Andrew Sutton, a 26-year culinary veteran, was honored as one of four recipients of the Antonin Carême Medal presented by The Chefs Association of the Pacific Coast, Inc. in San Francisco on Nov. 16.
