This is an amazing glimpse at the animation process; a pencil test of Mowgli climbing the tree from Disney’s Jungle Book. Drawn by one of the masters from Disney, Milt Kahl.

I love books. I owned a bookstore, with my brothers, years ago yet my love for them goes back to my childhood; as does my love for all things Disney. So, when Disney Editions releases a wonderful collection of material from the Disney Archives, The Disney Keepsakes, you can bet that I am one happy [...]

Over the years I have collected lots of things. Most of them had gone on to become expensive hobbies so I moved to downscale my interests. One of the things that has been consistent is my love for pins. From concert pins to several Olympic items to my favorite Disney pins. There are quite a [...]

While I was a castmember at The Walt Disney Co. I had the great pleasure of always having my office in one of the parks. First it was Epcot, but for the final portion of my tenure my office was the TV and film production studio on the backlot at Disney’s Hollywood Studios; Disney Production [...]

With the celebration of the 20th anniversay of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I have been looking in the archives to see what I could pull out, scan/photograph and post here on the site. The first thing that I found were some old maps.

Not to long ago I was a CD for an ad agency and we were working on some promotional materials for a new attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The campaign was designed to introduce this ride to Disney Travel Agents and our idea used a great direct mail piece and a micro-site to lead the [...]

Since I couldn’t get a chance to fly the Characters in Flight this weekend, I went back through my archives and pulled out some aerial shots from a long-since retired attraction; the Skyway at the Magic Kingdom.

EPCOT as many of us know stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. It was the original concept for the Florida Project, but was abandoned shortly after Walt’s death in 1966. Nevertheless, the idea still had merit in the company and was continued in development over the years.
